LISTENING
Timing:   30 minutes

You will listen to 4 recordings of Native English Speakers and then answer questions related to the contents, as below:

Recording 1- Conversations between 2 speakers in the context of social needs.

Recording 2- A monologue set in the context of social needs.

Recording 3-  A conversation between up to 4 speakers about education or training topics.

Recording 4- A monologue on an academic subject.

Reading 

READING
Timing:   60 minutes

You will do a test consisting of 3 parts with 40 questions in total, covering from 10 to 11 questions types. There is a difference between the Reading components of IELTS General Training Test & IELTS Academic Test

easier texts from social, academic and work contexts.

IELTS Academic Test 
Advanced texts at an undergraduate or graduate level, from academic sources.

Writing 

WRITING
Timing:   60 minutes

There is a difference between the Reading components of IELTS General Training Test&IELTS Academic Test:

IELTS General Training Test
+ Task 1: Write a letter for about 150 words, responding to a given situation (e.g. requesting information, explaining a situation...). Your writing style can be personal, semi-formal or formal.
+ Task 2: Write an essay for about 250 words, responding to a point of view, argument or problem. Your writing style can be fairly personal.

IELTS Academic Test
+ Task 1: Describe, summarize or explain the information presented by a table, diagram, chart,... for about 150 words.
+ Task 2: Write an essay for about 250 words, responding to a point of view, argument or prozblem. Your writings in both tasks must be in a formal style.

Speaking 

SPEAKING
Timing:   14 - 15 minutes

This is a face to face interview between one examiner and one test taker. Your speaking test (including 3 parts) are recorded. The test includes 3 parts:

Part 1
Introduction related to general and easy topics in about 4 or 5 minutes.

Part 2
You are shown a task card with some information. You have one minute to prepare and then speak on that given topic. It lasts about 4 minutes.

Part 3
Further questions related to part 2 are asked. It lasts about 4 minutes.
